My personal opinion on crop damage tags is that the farmer does not have rights to the tags unless they are already allowing hunters the opportunity to assist in thinning the herd. A couple around hear won't lease or allow permit hunting yet obtains several dozen crop damage permits each year. That's BS.


I agree with you on this aspect of deer hunting. smile Do you know if landowners have to report their kills or track them in anyway to know how many antlerless deer are being killed each year? Seems like this would be a good number to know as folks consider antlerless kill limits during deer season.
