I have a family get together today so I had to get out of the woods at 9. I got skunked and my buddy saw a spike and two does. Heard one of two shits on cahaba where we were at.  I seriously just lol'd

5 th doe of the morning just walked thru a community scrape 150 yds down the mtn. The roar of the water coming out of the mtn is awesome. Sum at my back and wind in my face. Thank you Lord for another day to enjoy your creation. 4 more does followed by 4 pt

Decided to sit a couple hours this morning in a shooting house on a hedgerow where I can see 500 yards in call directions, usually see piles of younger deer when I watch all that real estate. Saw one spike...at about 2 yards (came down the hedge row).

Just got settled in a hardwood draw. Stand hasn't been sat in all year. It's too hot and too humid. If there wasn't the chance of some chasing I'd be watching football.
