The using the loader to star crimp MIGHT have a little bit of merit if one is looking to not go further on sealing his shells for wet weather performance, but if he has any sense and plans to turkey hunt in inclimate weather....he will seal up his crimps with something more than a simple crimp regardless of the chosen crimp method. Experience shows that neither method is immune to allowing buffer out and moisture in....especially after banging around in a turkey vest for weeks on end. [/quote]

I agree the loader is useless for anything but crimps, but imo it makes life easier for not much more money
