American whitetail 139 grain There's been threads on here of people complaining about those bullets not expanding or coming apart. Please go get you some different bullets. Something went wrong , I'm no sniper but I could have killed this one with a Rock , tall eight point just outside the ears looked like a three year old .

Those bullets suck hard it probably punched a 7mm hole straight thru the deer or blew up
We will burn that bridge when we get there

Y'all may remember I shot a buck at around 40 yards last year facing me using a 7mm08 with hornady American whitetail ammo. I shot him straight in the chest. Followed blood for around 200 yards and never going the deer. I believe that bullet blew up.

I FINALLY DID IT.
Killed my first ever deer this morning at about 9:00. It was a small little doe. Like, real small. But I haven't had a shot at a deer ever while hunting, and it was legal, so I took it. Couldn't be happier. One of the best feelings ever.
It's at the processor now. Can't wait for some tasty sausage and burger. I'll try to post some pictures up when I get a chance, although I may get laughed off the forum...
Ready to get back out there next weekend and try to get a good size doe or maybe even a buck if I'm lucky. I caught the sickness! You be proud of that deer you will never forget if anybody poor mouths you about it tell them to kiss your ass. If you have trouble posting pictures text them to me and I'll post them for you

Hunting recent clearcut. 6 in field now. God Bless, David B. How far is that about 250? Shot a doe this evening just a little to the left of the furthest deer in the picture on the right. 278 yards. God Bless, David B.
