I have heard the closer you are to Fort Benning, the earlier the rut. And some of those genetics have probably migrated over our way. Ive seen bachelor groups split up, bucks necks swole up, and chasing does in October a few times over the past few years. Its rare but it makes sense with being that close to the GA line
