Today my Mom and I picked up a large Big Green Egg for my stepdad for his Christmas gift.
What do you all view as the must have accessories for a successful egg experience excluding?

It definitely needs the folding table kit that attaches to it.

Plate setter Rib rack The little pilars to remove the grate Pizza stone Yep, and an electric igniter element. Much easier than the fire blocks.

A quality thermometer. There are several good ones that range in price.

Eggvector. Used to be called a plate setter. Turns the grill into a smoker or brick oven. Must have.

The ash scraper, it is used to rake the ashes out of the bottom. I also use a metal scewer for kabobs to move coals around without removing the grate. Plenty of good charcoal, ribs, Boston butt and plenty of beverages!

Mine was delivered this Monday. I pulled the trigger and bought one of those cedar tables and BGE covers as well. Now I need to save up the cash up for the automatic heat controller. The pizza stone is also on my wish list.

Cast iron cooking grate. It comes with standard grate.

First off I will say I have a big green egg and several yeti coolers, all I here is how you can buy bunches of regular cooler and bunches of ice for what a yeti cost. You can buy several regular grills for what a green egg cost so let's here all the bitching boys!
