I thought wolf Creek was closed. I may have been misinformed but I live just a few minutes away and that's what my neighbors told me. I have seen a couple monsters in my yard though.

Wolf Creek is no longer a WMA. I think Hollywood hunted close to there. He mentioned something about it last year when we were talking about going squirrel hunting

I hunt about 10 miles north of where it used to be. Some rough terrain around there but some absolute monsters around there. Heard of a many 160+ come from that area and I believe it can produce a 180. Only my opinion though.

Yeah the one in my backyard is on camera and I jumped either a big 8 or 10. It was hard to tell with the kudzu hanging off his rack. Lol about gave me a heart attack cause he come out of a kudzu patch about 15yds from me. He was gone too quick to get a shot and all I had was crossbow.

If it's the one I saw a picture of,it was killed at a hunting club in the old wolf creek mgnt area by a 72 yr old man. It's a monster.
