Getting up early to go to Skyline tomorrow. I know what it will be. An empty sit in a place that looks deer-y but ain't. I just don't have much else and you can't kill em sitting on the couch. It just feels like a long shot. I've hunted it seriously for 2 seasons. Got a doe the first year, let a basket rack get away last year, seen some incredible sign and that's about it. Didn't find the sign in 3 days of hunting during the muzzleloader season this year.

On the distance I like to walk to my stands:

Good luck, AC. Basically doing the same where I hunt ... watching squirrels and hoping something will come through.

Tomorrow evening you could be telling the story about how you almost stayed home while taking pics of a stud that may have been roaming. Thats what keeps me going sometimes. Wondering what would walk by my stand while I was in bed.

Skyline is a good place to hunt if you know where to go. I used to hunt it a lot back in the day. Keep with it, you'll find em!

Dang Clem! We can do something about those squirrels....

With the warm temps you'll have a high percentage chance of encountering a huge 4 wheeler or 10 laugh
