Finally back out in the woods this morning. Can't semester to keep the wife, kids, or myself well enough this year for me to get out as often as I'd like. I have a couple of weeks off around Christmas that I plan to spend a bit of in the woods.

I got a young 7pt. Sunday evening. If I don't kill anything any better by seasons end I have to use it. Just wanted to give y'all an update. Only racked buck that I have seen since day one of bow season.

Well, unless a miracle happens I am going to zero again this year. Sorry guys. I have all but run out of options for hunts. I have seen exactly zero deer this year while hunting and now does' are off limits in most of the places I hunt.

Going to give it another shot tomorrow afternoon. Taking off work to hunt... behind the office. Jumped 6-7 the other afternoon while taking a walk around the building.

Guys. I could've gotten us some points both on my morning hunt and this afternoon but I was an invited guest at my friends farm. Both bucks I saw were pretty nice. I just couldn't pull the trigger being that I thought they needed a year to grow. Should be really nice bucks next year if they make it.

I have one more chance Saturday. I took two shots this past weekend @ 56yrds on two doe. I missed both. Found out later that I had grabbed the WRONG box of slugs. One box my gun loves, the other it HATES!
