Not a whole lot there. Nicknamed trashford. Meth is the drug of choice. Hayden is nicer. Helena estate lots are $10k/acre and rising. Check out gardendale and mt olive if you want the country feeling but close to town.

My in-laws live in Bradford, just before Trafford. Not sure how much land might be available, but there are some deer out that way. Drug problems are everywhere, so not sure you can get away from that, especially in more rural areas. Areas around Cullman have the same problems.
