My wife and I are from Louisiana, about an hour southeast of Baton Rouge. We moved to Gulfport, Ms 5 years ago for her job. She has been doing consulting on the side and has been working a few jobs at St Vincent Hospital in Birmingham and was offered a job there. We are still looking into it. She is familiar with the traffic while in town but doesn't know how it is coming in from other areas.
I lease a 230 acres in Meridian, Ms that is just for the boys to hunt. I never hunted it myself or any adult. I only let kids hunt it. Love getting the youngsters into the outdoors. If I can find a piece of land to put a couple stands on for them, I'll get rid of the lease. As far as joining a club, no thanks. Done that and don't care for the drama. See more deer hunting public land anyway. I'm kind of a loner when it comes to hunting. lol
When we get settled in, we are gonna have to have a big cajun cook out. And bring y'all bows so we can sling a few arrows in the yard. Keep the replies coming. They are very helpful.
