Hi, I live in Kentucky and I am an archery only deer hunter. I have family owned land here in so. central Ky that has a great turkey population and I am not a turkey hunter. I was looking for a place in Alabama to bow hunt deer and hogs in the late season. Not looking to be put up or guided, I only shoot mature deer and I'm fine staying in a motel and hunting on my own. If any of you die hard turkey hunters are interested,please let me know. I am also a non drinking Christian and we do not allow any drinking/hunting on our farm either.

You could probably just sell a few turkey hunts and use the money to join a club in Bama.

I appreciate that but not interested in leasing as we have cattle on the farm. I let a client turkey hunt on opening weekend last year and that was the first time anyone had ever turkey hunted here, he got both his gobblers in 2 days as we have a lot of birds. I'd rather swap out hunting rights as I dont care to get involved in a money exchange/ yearly lease.

If I didn't have the turkeys locked down in Ky, I'd grab this and go. Now if you're interested in swapping a late season bow hunt over a food source, for some january alabama bow hunting, I'm down.
