North40R ,What kind of bait did you use for that fox? My dad been getting pics of a fox I thought about catching.

Thanks
Chad

Chad the fox in the live trap was caught on cat lure and the others on coyote lure.

Nothing for me the past 2 mornings! No coyote tracks in the roads, no scat, no coon tracks, not even any fox tracks the last couple nights. All of my sets are here within a half mile of my house and this is definitely the area I've trapped the hardest the last couple years.

Got an opossum at the house this morning. I'll check another farm later today and hopefully have something else.

Congrats on the catches! I finally had a little action this morning.

I'm afraid he came at a price though! Right across the road from the coyote was a murder scene. Yesterday a turkey must've stepped wrong and got caught. Needless to say she met a bad end. I remade the both sets so hopefully it'll draw more coyotes tonight.

Also caught a coon at a dirthole set this morning.

Had something pull out of a dp lastnight. Ground was all torn up and had blood on the trap. Aucoonhunter and I set another leg hold around some digging I found in a mound this morning. Looked like fox tracks to us so maybe we will get it.

Get as close as you feel comfortable, put a few rounds in him and run. I went back about an hour later and removed him from the trap. I caught 3 stinkers in DPs last year, and this one messed up a nice dirt hole set, although he may have been the one digging under the stump to start with lol.

If you'll take and bury that stinker and leave a leg sticking out and set you a leg hold that'll hold a coyote you'll stand a good chance of catching one.
