Congrats on the catches! Empty traps at my place again.

I'm ready to get traps out on new ground. Very few tracks on my lease that I'm trapping now and even though that's what I've been working toward the past 5 years it makes for some long runs.

Coyote cleaned out my dirt hole last night. I've been thinking it was offset too much to the left. I think he's proven it so I rebedded the trap and moved the dirt hole more in front of it. Dug hole about a foot deep and put chicken liver and egg yolk in it. He's a frequent flyer so I think I'll have him within the next 2 nights. [img:center][/img]

Had one pullout at a dirthole this morning, a little blood on top of the jaws with some short white hairs. I figure it was a coon with the short trap circle.

Could've been Matt. Mine were empty again this morning. I've never had good luck during a full moon week though.

Pete reset one of the traps that Tim (professional trapper) had set for us. the remaining 5 were dug up and of those, 4 were set in different areas. this was last thursday.

yesterday, me and baby girl freshened the sets with food lure/sheep's wool; gland and urine; and bait.

checked them today and we had another coyote. female. this one makes the 5th coyote for us

total for the hunting club - 6 coyote
