The wife and I were driving down the road the other day and I spotted a skunk that had been ran over and killed. A tiny baby skunk, that was still alive, was hanging around, not wanting to leave its mother. We stopped and my wife actually picked the little guy up and brought him to the car and put him in her lap.
"He seems really cold," she said. "What should we do?"
"Hold him between your legs to warm him up," I said.
"But what about the smell," she asked.
"Just pinch his little nose shut and he won't notice," I said.
Sleeping on the couch isn't so bad.
