I try to set up my stand where I am shooting deer on my left from my 11oclock to 7oclock position, that way I can shoot sitting down. Otherwise I'm going to have to stand to get a shot off if they are from my 12oclock to 5oclock position. This is exactly what I do, as well. Same here. I don't stand unless I have to.
