Back in the mid to late 70s my older brother and I always opened the bow season camping at choccoloc. We'd pitch a tent. It was either sex with a bow. We used recurves. No tree stand, and no camo. We would stalk the hardwood bottoms and it wasn't unusual to slip up on 10 to 15 does at a time. One morning we both ran out of arrows and never cut a hair. It was a lot of fun.
