Not sure why the 'early' hunt, though.
I do agree with making Public Land hunts more attractive.
But, honestly, I feel that the Season timing that is already I place is plenty long enough; if not maybe too long.
I am SO glad that I don't have to make these decisions. Obviously, I would not be good at it! LOL People that can only afford to hunt public land damn sure appreciate any extra days they can hunt (non bow hunter obviously). Oh, I agree with that! I have never understood the logic behind 3 1/2 months of unrestricted bow hunting on our Public Lands while limiting the gun hunters to only a handful of days the entire Season! Put harvest restrictions on the gun hunters, if needed. But, allow them the opportunity to hunt!
