So far this year has sucked about as bad as Helen Keller trying to give a speech! The deer have apparently packed up and left the county!

Good luck boys. I'm set up at my desk. Can't wait to get back in the woods tomorrow.

Y'all get 'em. I'm headed south to Monroeville tonight, hunting 3 days straight and praying the weather man is full of crap.

It has different strengths of correction, or shock if you want to call it that, from 1-18. I turned everything to 1 and even double checked it. I’m still not sure what happened. Maybe when I turned the collar on and it came online it triggered some different presets or maybe I bumped the touch screen accidentally, not sure……but whatever in the hell happened…..I held it in my hand and hit myself with a 12 out of 18 right out of the gate. Let me just say….that’s startling when you’re expecting a 1 and sends a jolt all the way to your elbow. I quickly threw the damn thing down and my first thought was “Holy Chit!!! That’s a 1!!!!!” shocked

Bowhunter84 and I played the shock collar game one night. Those things don't mess around...

I can assure you that I’ll not be playing that game. I’ve got some kin folks that are prime suspects to use it on though. grin I see why the dogs don't question that chit. It felt like grabbing onto an electric fence.

A shock collar and some wire run on the seat an office chair cushion is highly enjoyable to watch people jump. Just saying

Took the day off work but blew a tire at 4 AM on the interstate. Been watching the price is right at Goodyear ever since.

Forgot my harness so I scouted a bit to find some hot oaks at the farm rather than risk an unsafe climb. This weather ain't helping things either, looks like Sunday is going to be the day to hunt coming up.

Found an unauthorized feeder one of the trailer park residents put up, so I filled that target full of 10 rounds of 45acp and ripped it down. At least I got to shoot at something. Good luck to all sweating their nuts off.

Another sit here at LBL on a scrape line between two fields. I'm on one side of the ridge off a big field and my buddy is on the other side on another field. Saw some big boys last night riding around last night.

I'm set up in about an 8 acre section of woods right next to the main gate going in to the back part of the property. I'm 40 yards off the county road. There's a 7 or 8 year old thick ass cutover across the road behind me. The deer have a cow trail beat down across the powerline ROW coming in here. I'm between two swamp chestnuts that have recently started dropping and there's a lot of sign under them.

Got a good feeling about this. Furflyin hang in there buddy only a few more hours to go and tomorrow is Friday. smile

Hunting in a big bottom with scrapes and White Oaks. By the time I dry out it will be time to walk back out. Things us bow hunters do. cry
