Last year, I had a bad experience with Isbell's Deer Processing in on 280 near Chelsea. They were nice folks, but I didn't get much meat from the first deer I brought them. The second deer, apparently, spoiled because their freezer broke. We were having 30° days, but apparently all my meat thawed in 1 day. Not sure about that, but whatever.
Anyway, apparently the place is now called Central Alabama Deer Processing. I was told it is under new ownership. Anyone know if this is true? It's changed hands 3 times in the past 4 years. I hunt in Tallapoosa Co., and I live in Leeds, so this place is extremely convenient for me, but I don't want to take a chance. Thought I'd ask y'all.
