It is tough. I don't for a minute believe the low numbers our govt reports as unemployed. I'm going on 2 1/2 months myself. It's hard but we're getting through this. The main obstacle I have is my age (54). No one will admit it, but a lot of companies are hesitant to hire us old folks. I've been told way too many times, that I'm over-qualified so they can't hire me, even when it's a big cut in pay. Really?
