Mines 7 and he will be either with my AR-15 in 223 or AR-10 in 308. The adjustable stock and low recoil make them really good for kids. He handled the 223 well last week and may let him try the 308 this week. Would prefer he use the 308 but with the right shoot I think the 223 will work.
