Phuck China and their bullschit, counterfeited knock off crap. http://www.orioncoolers.com/ Knock yourself out. $500 for a 65 quart? Those things are more overpriced than Yetis are.

Has anyone gotten their Rtic cooler yet? I doubt it, since they haven't actually started selling them yet... RTIC coolers FAQ When will the coolers be in stock and when will they be available for delivery? We anticipate having the RTIC coolers in stock in late August 2015. If you make a reservation for a cooler, a RTIC representative will contact you when the product is available to complete the purchase. All reservations will be filled on a first come basis and are subject to availability. Please check our website ( www.rticcoolers.com) and Facebook ( www.facebook.com/rticcoolers) for updates. From their facebook page: SHIPPING STATUS UPDATE: We want to thank everyone for the strong interest in the RTIC Coolers. To confirm, we will begin shipping coolers in the last week of August 2015. Nothing has changed our initial shipping time.
The RTIC Coolers will be shipped on a first reserved, first shipped basis. Meaning, the earlier reservations will be shipped first.
In mid August, we will have our fully functional website up in which the reservation holders will be emailed informing you the website is live and able to finalize your order including any changes to your order and acceptance of payment. You will have 3 days to complete your order. If you do not place an order within the 3 days your reservation will be cancelled and nothing else is required. You can place a new reservation; however, that will place you at the bottom of the reservation list thereby delaying the delivery further.
We appreciate all the support and look forward to getting you the RTIC Coolers!

The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

I think I'm gonna wait it out to see how they are since they moved back shipping dates from this month til the end of October. Same here. I pre-ordered a 65 in blue, and now they're telling me that blue will not be available...only white and tan. That, along with the major delay in shipping, is enough to make me wait before I do anything. Well, the fact that I ran across a super deal on an Engel 65 had something to do with it as well. I might be interested in one of the small ones if they will make them in blue sometime in the future. But, I'll have to see how the quality is.

This is a shady way to do business. It's almost like a Gofund type deal without saying it. They now want a friggin deposit on something they promised to ship by the end of August because too many people want one? Ain't gettin my money!

Yep something does not seem right with this and I am not sending RTIC a pre-order payment on a cooler of all things.

I'm considering buying one of these. I just called them and they claim shipment of pre-orders by early 2016.
Has anyone received their pre-ordered cooler yet?

Pay now and get shipment in maybe 3 months? Not with my money. My guess is that a former YETI employee knew the overseas source and also knew that YETI has a weak patent protection. This whole business model seems to be all about pre-order and taking that cash to pre-buy from the China factory.

I think I'm gonna get a Cabela's cooler instead 45 qt is $299 less employee discount 60 at is $349 less discount
