They aren't full bottom platforms either. Try setting a backpack underneath a Walmart two man ladder stand seat. I hunt out of these (have for 5-6 years) and they're high enough for bowhunting and have enough room that you or your kids won't fall out. I like them anyway.

To me the best deal is the single ladder that Dicks sells for $79(on sale). You can usually find a $10 off coupon. These stands have a shooting rail and the bottom is a full bottom that goes all the way back to the tree.

Who makes a ladder stand with a good comfortable seat? Those hard ass bench seats just don't do it for me.

Gander mountain sells the rivers edge 2 man stand for 189.00 It has the fabric big seats and sits very well. My 5 year old and me sat in it over 3 hours and didn't get uncomfortable. The straight up type kill my back. The rivers edge stands are expensive but worth it.

My favorite ladder stands of all-time are the 18' jumbo ladder stand from Sportsman's Guide (Guide Gear brand). I usually get these shipped to my door for around $110 and they're the best/most comfortable on the market IMO

I saw some new stands in Field & Stream (Dicks Sporting Goods outdoor section) in Mobile that looked good. I don't remember the name but the ladder legs were round with the inside flat ( can't describe it any better than maybe like a capital D).
They had singles and doubles that way. Reasonably priced I thought. D shaped tubes were supposed to be a lot stronger and more rigid for less shake and flex.
Be worth looking at.

I've got a mellenium 2 person stand and it is extremely comfortable. I tried allot of brands and these are the most comfortable I've sat in.
