I helped raise a fawn when I was just 6 years old. My dad found it in a soybean field and mom was dead on the road next to it. we talked to a vet he told us what to do and we did it. built it a pen and kept her for 4 years till she died. I think she ate some poison bushes that go thrown in her pen. she was so tame that when my mom went on her afternoon walks the deer and our black lab would go with her. Her name was of course Bambi, I have an oil painting my family had painted of me at 6 years old in the woods bottle feeding her. I was young but it was a cool thing to see and be a part of, that pic brings back a bunch of memories.
