HuntersMark, if your bow has a 28" cam on it and you measure 27.2", it's too long. Have it adjusted to 27".
As far as what Goldhill and FlyinRN are discussing, technically you're both correct. If you change releases or decide to shoot fingers, this does not change the measured draw length on the bow. It changes your anchor. So you lengthen or shorten the draw to get it to where your anchor point is comfortable. When shooting fingers you typically anchor closer to your mouth, thus needing a shorter draw.
Mathews cams are notorious for running long now. I measure out at 26.6". On my Z7, Chill R and Creed I had to set them up with a 26" draw so they would properly fit me.
