Yesterday, I went to Bass Pro with a hunting buddy to get a couple game cams and there she was... Big, Black, Shiny. The way the light hit her, I knew I had to have her. We'd flirted off and on for a while now. I'd even held her close a few times when the wife wasn't around. Her smell was intoxicating. The way her butt felt against me was perfect. So I finally did it. I got myself a Super Black Eagle II boys! Let's go shoot something!

Congrats on the gun man.You won't be disappointed,I bought mine back in January 2011 for duck hunting, now that I don't duck hunt anymore,I thought about selling it,but since I've killed several turkeys with it,it's become pretty sentimental to me.That thing will go BOOM..... BOOM....BOOM!!!!! Very quick like....CONGRATS

Blong,

I hope you're wrong man. So far, all I've shot out of it are low brass 2 3/4 and everyone of them has ejected.

He is wrong, at least in my experience. Mine has shot everything it's been fed, from the cheapest Walmart shells on up to good Magnums. If I remember correctly there is supposedly a break in period where shooting mild loads isn't recommended but mine got broken in during duck season...

You're right. There is a break in period. And I plan to bust some tree rats with her soon. I normally take low brass since I usually have a box or two laying around, but I bought a couple of boxes of high brass #6 to break her in with.

I've had one since I graduated high school on 1999. I got it as a graduation present. Old everything from geese, rabbits, dove, ducks, turkey, hogs, and deer. NEVER had this gun fail on me. If you shoot a lot and get it really nasty, it may slow feed a shell. It's easy to break down, so just pull it apart and clean after a day of shooting. You'll be good to go. I've abused mine over the years, and it's always been reliable.

I hope yours does fine and probably will but I have seen several fail on dive shoots. Do a google search on Benelli low brass ejection problems, maybe the newer models have been fixed.

One of the best days of my life when I decided to sell my three jamnellis. I will never own another one of them again. I like shooting when the weather gets down to zero and that ain't gonna happen much with a benelli. Good luck with yours.

I've got about a thousand trouble free rounds down the tube since last November on a SBE II. Just make sure you let the bolt slam home.

They dont like a lot of oi. Oil plus dirty cheap shells equal jams with light loads.

Too much oil will cause issues with most recoil operated guns......

I must have gotten a good one because mine has never jammed. I've never cleaned it and I don't think I've ever oiled it.

Congratulations!
Benellis are great shotguns!

I had a turkey walk up and surrender one morning when he heard me rack a shell into my Benelli M2!
