I usually see them while bush hogging. They walk out of the weeds as I go by but on the next round they are most times laying down just in the tall weeds only to be run over.

When they come out I try to catch them and move them to another part of the field but when the yotes are standing around licking their chops, its no use. Sometimes mama will hang around, sometimes she won't.

Nothing makes me sicker than hitting a fawn with a hay cutter or bush hog, except maybe running a nesting hen, eggs and all, through the crimper.
