just a fyi
I use to hate seeing dogs while hunting. I dont shoot dogs myself unless I feel threatened. But a few years ago I went on my first dog hunt at a wma (blue springs). There was several groups of doggers there. You would think after an hour or two, you wouldnt think there'd be a deer for miles. but while we were rounding up the dogs another group would be waiting to turn theirs loose in our block, and when you get to the next block you might have to wait for them to gather up there dogs before you could turn loose. This goes on for three days. Also at the club, you can turn loose in a block one day and run deer, and turn loose the next day and run deer. So I've learned that they dont affect the deer as much as i thought. Especially if there not deer dogs. I do think there is a place for human killing of some animals, I mean thats what most of the pounds do anyways after 90 days.
Also check out that study the did with deer with tracking collers and coondogs, pretty intresting. Cant remember were I seen that, on here I think.
