Been real slow so far in Illinois. 80 deg temps and 20+ mph winds. I did see a big 10 pt at about 300 yds this morning. Going to try to set up on him in the morning.

Got us a doe this morning . Back at it for final afternoon before heading home. Have come close with a couple very nice bucks, but no cigar yet.

I am going tomorrow afternoon saving my vacation day Friday and just going to hunt friday afternoon then Saturday and Sunday venture off to the honey hole

Struck out on bucks. Saw several and 3 shooters, but too far. Temps were near 80 deg 3 days. Tough hunting. Time to focus on Bama.
