Can't wait to get in the woods. Won't be passing on many deer this year. I actually ran out of deer meat this past summer. Won't make that mistake again.

My hunting schedule depends on a buddy up here. He has all the access to the land. Season has been in for a month, and we haven't been able to go yet. Hopefully that will change soon. Last year, it wasn't a problem. I'm ready to kill some of these tame, Yankee deer...

I hear ya mmusso, I am waiting on some paper work to come through for my main hunting area this year. Season opens in two days and I need one more signature. I my spot picked out, but it happens to be my daughters fall break and my wife wants to go somewhere this weekend. YAY ME.

I'll hunt at least a few weekends during bow season ... with an evil xbow. I won't be able to make this week I don't think but I'm going to be in a tree soon.

Come gun season I hope to be wide open, which for me is most Saturday's and then the occasional vacation day during the week, with a cluster of pounding the woods right after Christmas.
