I do not use it. I seldom wear a facemask while bow hunting either. I do however use a thick fleece mask when I hunt on brutally cold days. Not to go undetected, but to stay warm. I've never seen the need for face paint or a mask for deer. and so grasshopper the super wary six year old bucks continue to recognize you and steer clear. Get a mask..... 
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....
