You shoot at a circle with an x or a + in the middle of it. 10 of you shoot at once and who ever gets a pellet closest to the mark wins a turkey or a ham or a gift certificate at the grocery store. A little skill but a whole lot of luck involved. Shoot the tightest choke you got.

Never seen anyone check anything on the guns, BUT you shoot their ammo which is the cheapest thing they could find at Walmart. Everyone shoots at the same time kids included. My son shot a .410 against 12 gauges last year and ended up winning.

Probably, you will be shooting light dove loads. Check your POI. My guns with a tight choke will put an entire dove load in a pie plate at 20 -25 yards which is what you will be shooting at the shoot.

Father inlaw did Turkey shoots for years I have several(turkey)guns with custom long barrels..they use to shoot at 85ft or so..most of the time 9 or 10 shot..I have custom barrels for both size shots.
