Went by Marks Outdoors yesterday to buy some secret weapon lures for G'ville. I looked at the King Kong lure. $29.99  Do people actually pay that kind of money for a lure? Not this poor boy.

I was thinking the same thing the other day, when i was in there. that's crazy. i'll stick to the old school stuff before i pay 30$ for a lure. i'd probably snag it on the first cast.

When they hit that King Kong, they eat it.
If you're on a lake with open water (no topped-out grass) and fish that come up to eat, it would work.
The big version swims 1-3 feet under the surface with a steady retrieve. Smaller one about half that ... both of them on top with a slow retrieve.

that dang thing is HUGE too. I heard it swims good but I'm like yall, with my luck I'd get about an hour out of it then I'd be swiming in after it when it got hung up.
I used to be a lifeguard, but some blue kid got me fired.
