I don't remember how many times I woke up per hour when I got tested but it was in the 30-40 times per hour range. I remember thinking I slept less than 2 minutes between wake ups.

The number I do remember is how many times I wake up now with a CPAP on. It averaged out to 0.6 times per hour. I just got a new machine about 6 months ago and had to get several card downloads and can remember that.

Speaking of CPAPS, I'm about to put mine on...

I buy extra cushions and mask parts on ebay. For me it's cheaper than insurance co pays. I definitely use more filters than insurance will pay for. They're cheap on ebay. I also figured out how to adjust my own machine. I'll adjust the pressure up and down depending on how I feel when I wake up. I don't recommend that for anyone else, but it's come in handy a couple times.

I also bought an extra machines on secondwindcpap.com to use in my camper.

I've got oily skin and I wash my cushion every night with Dawn dish washing liquid. It keeps it pretty clean, but about once every 3-4 months when it gets to where I'm having air leaks often, I'll soak it in hot, nearly boiling water (about 2 quarts) and 1/2 to 1 cup baking soda. It will deep clean the silicone and make it "sticky" again like new. You can only do a cushion that way a couple times. I think it thins the silicone.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
