Dang Brent, that ol' boy looks miserable!! Our Toby swelled up good, but not like that. Probably bc I think he only took 1 fang puncture instead of both. He's doing pretty good today. Swelling has gone down a bit, but he's still whining a good bit and his head is still really hot. Still scared of the grass though

My dang dog was cautious like that...for a week. Then all out again...sniffing where snakes will be. We walk by a pond..and the dang dumb gal actually chased a dang mocassin who was LEAVING until i called her off. Shes a mountain Cur...and all she wants to do is hunt and kill things..Its why I like her! Glad to hear hes gonna be ok!

Glad he is doing better. I've heard of Benadryl wrapped in bacon and lots of water

3cc Dexamethasone, penicillin and a Benadryl and it will be good as new in couple days. Thats all the vet will give them and will charge $300 - $400.
You can get 50cc bottle of Dex for around $25.
