This time of year alot of fisherman make the mistake of only catfishing at night when the real action is from 10:00am till dark. The cats should be real shallow right now on sun exposed flats close to ledges or steep drop offs. You need to find flats with a real hard bottom though. I always catch 100 or so catfish in a couple weeks time this time of year in Guntersville out of one spot and they are for the most count yellow cats with a few channels mixed in. Nigh crawlers of fiddleworms are your best bet.
