I've been waiting a while for this cat to get mounted. He got started on it early this week, and it's coming along quite nicely. I'm very pleased with it. It's drying, and will take a couple weeks before touchup and painting, but it can only improve from here. This is what a cat mount should look like.

Do you still have the trail cam pic of it? I remember you posting it, then trapping it within a few weeks. Great looking mount, the guy apparently knows how to get the features correct on cats.

Funny thing is he's not satisfied with it and said it was an extremely difficult form to work with. He's mounted a lot of cats and they all look real good.

Looks good. I like the eyes and face. I think a lot of people try to get too much expression in the face and overdo it. That one is subtle and realistic.

One of the best bobcat mounts I've ever laid my eyes on was done by ArtisticWhitetails for himself and he wasn't satisfied with it either. He said he doubted he'd ever do one for a customer.
