At the very beginning of the article it states they at least lynched one innocent man for sure I sometimes wonder what society would look like today if our forefathers would have treated the blacks after slavery as human beings instead of the way it turned out. After reading the article and even hearing how they used church pews in the fire it definitely shows me the forces of darkness were at work full time. I always thought it was very telling that the KKK used a cross as an object to insight fear in people when it is supposed to be the ultimate sign of sacrifice and forgiveness and should unite all men not separate them.

I wonder if you have ever served sir because when I was in the military there was a lot of God fearing men serving and I can assure you that many church going men have already laid down their lives for this country and the freedom we have....

Things are changing. Folks are getting tired of what is going on. Selling guns has taught me a lot. First of all, there are just about as many black folks buying guns as white. Granted, they are cheap guns but they still walk out the door with something that will shoot and a box of ammo. Second, people are very unsettled right now. Every day several come in and say they have decided to get their first gun. Men, women, couples, preachers, businessmen, housewives, old, young, and they are buying everything from AR15s to derringers. Truth is they are afraid. They do not feel safe in their lives anymore. As more "incidents" happen they will eventually take action.

This is definitely true one my friends is in the gun selling business and he has been telling me this for a while. It is very smart to have guns and plenty of ammo if the need arises to defend yourself and your loved ones. These are surely trying times.......

The big question is where does it go from here. I put a lot of blame on the media for stirring the pot. They know a lot of people are of lower intelligence and are easily led. IE: Cecil the Lion.

I put more blame on people for believing what they see in the media. Their job is to get ratings, not to keep us informed. They are very good at it.

I live in the city. And I can tell you that we are no closer to a race war, race riot, or a SHTF scenario than we were in the 60's, or in 1992. If folks worried more about their own families and lives and stopped watching so much TV we would all be in a better spot. America is not on the verge o a collapse. If you disagree, prove it to me.

I believe things will continue to get worse and won't ever get better. I don't think we will ever see another "Civil War" with a boundary line being drawn along state lines, but the moral fiber of our society is tattered beyond our repair, IMO. The prophecies foretold in Revelation are unfolding in front of us and most are still blinded to that. I agree with roadkill, things are changing. It seems though that things are changing at a faster pace than ever and we seem to be spiraling towards a collapse of our society.

If our society does collapse, I don't pretend to know what will happen at that point and I don't think anyone could predict that either. I said when Obama was elected that I felt that he would be the last president of the United States and that may or may not come true. One thing's for certain, the stage is being set for him to be able to suspend the election. If that happens, our country will implode. It won't be white against black or black against white, it will be utter chaos.

I have read a little about the "blood moons" and while I haven't studied it enough to have a good grasp of it, it sure makes me wonder if we aren't on the cusp of the Lord returning. I don't guess there has ever been a Christian man that lived that didn't think at some time during his life that the Lord was going to return, and that very well may be the case with me, but I grow more weary every day of living in a society that has turned into a cesspool of every conceivable perversion against man and God.

I live here too, and I'm not going to go all Gomer on y'all and claim it's the best city on earth, but it isn't that bad. When you're out at a bar downtown at 2 in the morning, you're increasing the odds of putting yourself in harms way to begin with.

I think bill had his tin foil hat on when he started this thread like these two shooting events were some kind of black revolt or uprising, but now that the facts are out, it is nothing more than two unrelated events that could happen anywhere.
