heading to eufala on sunday. Anybody been down there recently?

if it turns cold or the river is muddy it could be really miserable-----I would imagine the white spinnerbaits would be the ticket now. where you putting in at or are you comfortable running the lake?

We're putting in at the state park. it's just a small club tournament, but it's been two years since i've been down there. I was hoping there would be some good topwater action by now but i don't know what the water temps are like. I'm planning on running north and hitting some creeks. Never been too far up that way though. we usually fish our way south down toward the bridge.

We are going down Sunday evening after church and staying til Friday. With the warmer weather, the beds are being made now or at least that's what I'm hearing. We went down last year the same week and the river was so muddy you could walk across it. I hope it's not that bad this time.

You know they are having some kind of festival down there this weekend right? I don't think there is an empty motel anywhere near Eufaula.

appreciate the help, but i'm staying with my partner. He lives outside Montgomery, about an hour and a half away. then coming straight back. i haven't had much time to fish because of work.

Couple of guys from my club fished the Federation event down there a couple of weeks ago. They were sight fishing at the lower end of the lake in pockets.
