Just doused her with a pitcher of Budwieser Well at least no good beer was wasted then. And the guy was clearly in the wrong. Looked like he was trying to rub against her and come on to her and she was trying to get him to leave her alone. That little half ass punch she tried to throw was nothing. No justification for punching a woman in the face. And what has happened to the men of the world. I'm not shocked that there are a few a-holes out there that would punch a woman but I am shocked so many would stand by and do nothing about it. Back in my bar hopping days the police and getting kicked off the football team would have been distant secondary problems compared to the immediate problem of getting his ass stomped by half the men in the bar.

I watched it again and the guy right beside her had turned and looked away when the punch was thrown but the black guy beside him watched the whole thing go down and never batted an eye,just sat there like nothing happened and waited on the bartender to take his order,never asked the chick if she was ok or anything,I guess shucks like that is just the norm in their world,he needs a good ass whipping also

After watching the full video, this is the way I see it. He was the aggressor by pushing into and knocking into her and he did grab her first. She then did make a weak attempt at a punch. He should have then just said, "I've got too much to lose" and just walk away. Instead the football player mentality coupled with the thug life mentality took over and he said, "I can punch this bitch and show her who is boss and nothing will happen". He deserves any and all punishment he gets.
Lost also in the debate is the fact that he is underage and should not have been in there anyways.
Besides, if you can't put a girl down with a clean punch to the face, I don't want your weak ass on my football team. Maybe they need to suit her up, she took it like a man.

I'm a little shocked that some folks are trying to defend this guy That POS was raised that way...He should have walked away... ...its all in how theyre raised...isnt that kep phrase on pits? You are at a crowded bar and a drunk woman pushed you and starts cussing you out for pushing her. She goes postal and punches you in the face with a closed fist. What do you do? I watched the video of the FSU guy and she was definitely the aggressor. I'll never say it's OK to punch a woman in the face with a closed fist, but do you just tuck your tail and walk away? Have you seen the entire video? The short clip shows her hitting him. She should be charged for it. He forced his way through people, wedged between her and her friend and that shows aggression on his part. Before the first blow. No excuse. He should be punished appropriately for a number of things, including striking the woman. He had no business there at his age, he had no business seeking out the confrontation, he had no business hitting her back. He had responsibilities as a man, team mate and scholarship player. He didn't see or learn anything from Winston? Maybe he did. He learned the campus police, university and coaching staff would cover for him if they could. He should admit he was stupid. Take the punishment, move on to play somewhere else and redeem himself. You, as a fan, should stop making excuses for him and expect better from your school, coaching staff and players. That's just my two cents and I don't give a rip if anyone agrees with it or not. Just an FYI. If I'm in the bar and see what he did to her. I'm gonna skull stomp his arse long before the police get there.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.
