cant really say whose fault it was, maybe he checked her oil, maybe he didnt. Maybe she just flew off the handle. Who knows. But what I can tell you is, who's the loser. HIM. To have an oppertunity like he's got. And throw it away over something as petty as that. What an idiot. I aint gonna say a man should never hit a woman. But if you can't handle a weak, intoxicated, unarmed woman any better than that, maybe the bar scene aint for you. If I was a student at that school, I marry that girl. She took that punch like a champ. Love me some ruff women

^ not only that, but I'm shocked the loser didn't get his ass handed to him immediately. I was in sky bar about 6 years ago when a guy slapped a girl and knocked her down. I'd guess there were 3 or 4 of us pommelling his sorry ass about .5 seconds later. The bouncers carried him bodily out of the bar and handed him off to police. That's the way it should be handled when a man hits a woman, regardless of circumstance

I wonder if they were dating or trying to date and they got in to a spat and she was drunk and trying to get away or get another drink and he was all like NO B! You are not walking away from me like that! She did. He felt disrespected in front of his boys and it escalated to this?
Just a thought. Many pretty blonde chicks go for the black jocks....

He is in the wrong. I don't care what she did, she didn't have a gun or a knife. No excuse for him hitting her. He should have just laughed off the punch she threw and gone on about his business.
I am shocked that anyone defends him. I am also shocked at least one other man in the bar didn't put him on his ass when he hit her.
When I was in law school, my girlfriend mouthed off to a guy in a bar and pushed him. He should have walked away, But, he punched her back and was going to hit her before my brother and I beat his ass and put him in a garbage can upside down.

No doubt he's in the wrong, her little puny attempt at a punch didn't do anything to him. What we don't get from the video is the amount of noise in there. It looked like nobody realized what he had done, not even the bartenders understood what had happened...probably why he didn't get stomped immediately...that and the only other guys that probably knew he did it were the boyz in his posse.

I watched the video and to me, it looked like she was trying to get away from him and he wasn't having any of it. Looked like she was telling him to get away, and he refused. She balled up her fist and he grabbed her arm. She then tried to hit him with the other hand (again, it appears to me, to get him to back off), so he landed a right cross.
It certainly seems like at the beginning of the video, she is turning her back to him and he is doing everything he can to rub up on her. Exactly how I see it. It's all pretty clear to me..

Looked like he was trying to get to the bar and she was trying to keep him from getting to the bar ... to me anyways. Still no excuse to punch her, but I don't think she was innocent.
He looks like he is trying to rub up against her when she turns and says something to him. Then Watch at around the :10 (10second) mark. he puts his right hand under the edge of the bar and his left hand grips itstraight on. He then forcefully, pulls himself right in towards the bar and pushing her into the bar as well.... (Two handed grip)
