I prefer wood and I like the character scratches and marks. But my son has a Hogue overmold rubberized stock on his Howa 1500 7mm-08...man I sure do love that stock!

I prefer wood as far as looks but prefer to hunt with synthetic for durability.

I love the looks of wood on a gun. I only own one gun with a synthetic stock. All my others are wood by choice. Scratches don't bother me at all.

I like wood stocks and laminate stocks. I just can't deal with plastic...

I like my Houge overmolded the best so I guess synthetic. That thing has the best recoil pad I've ever seen.

Laminate is the answer for me. Looks good, feels good, hunts hard, inexpensive, unique, lots of options for color and shape.

Wood is just for looks. Synthetic is much more dependable and functional.

I like wood, go some of both, but love the older Remington wood, 700, and 1100

I don't know how anybody carries a wood rifle for everyday hunting purposes. I guess I'm just rough on my equipment, but I can't stand a scratched up wood gun. So, synthetic for me unless it's a safe queen

Wood for me. The guns are old like me. Never had a problem. Maybe I take better care of my guns than you all do.

I've got both and like both. I don't scratch my guns, so a wooden stock is not an issue with me.
