I've always been a synthetic stock kind of guy, just b/c there's less to worry with, don't have to worry about a scratch or anything like that, and frankly, I always thought they looked "cooler".

Lately, though, I've been getting the itch to put a wood stock on my rifle to "pretty it up" a little.

What do y'all prefer?

Synthetic, because I could scratch a "pretty" gun in a pillow store.

I like the way wood looks better, but I can't bring myself to spend more for it, when I can get a quality synthetic gun that I can abuse and not feel bad about it. I prefer to spend my money on optics.

Most of mine are Synthetic. But the few Laminate stocks I have look good.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Makes no difference for me.got a wood Monte Carlo in 25/06 and synthetic in 30/06. Whichever one I decide to grab is the one I carry.

Depends on the gun. I have both and like both.

All of mine are synthetic but I like the looks of a factory walnut Remington or Winchester stock.

Wood, I hunt hard with mine always have, I don't just throw it around or any things though. If it does get a little dink or scratch I out the wood with rem oil and it turns out kind of nice, ads a little character

Synthetic if it doesn't have a slick finish.

I love wood, but there is something about synthetic that is care-free. I wouldn't do well with getting scratches on a brand new gun.
