I have been getting into bass fishing lately. Don't have a boat but have mostly been bank fishing in private ponds, golf course ponds, and neighborhood ponds, etc. Get kicked out sometimes.. Pretty worth it. But I was wondering if any of ya'll knew of any ponds around the Daphne Fairhope Foley area? I know some of you probably don't wanna give away your spots but I need some places to fish.

Not in the area but congrats on getting chased off a few ponds. That shows that you get what bass fishing is all about.

LOL aint that the truth growing up we'd watch Bill Dance on Saturday and get fired up then we'd take off to the private ponds. We had a system and always started in the same place. Some days we'd go all day some days we'd get chased off all of them and be home early.

HA that's funny. When I was in high school, we snuck into a bunch of farm ponds. A old man caught me one time, and said who said yall could fish down here, I said, well you did, don't you remember. Now I never asked him nothing, just playing it off. He said listen you little SOB, I aint said nobody could fish here. I said, well you old bastard yes you did, and then ran like hell.. laugh laugh

Another lake I used to sneak into, and got caught by my daddy, man he was pissed, told me just to go ask the man if I could fish and see what happened. Well, I went and asked the man, the old man told me. Yea might as well let you go fishing, you been fishing in it all year, least this way you aint got to walk a mile through the woods.. laugh laugh

I learned way back then, old men are a lot sharper than I ever gave them credit for.. thumbup

When I was in high school I learned to fish a plastic worm in the fish hatchery at municipal park. Yes we got chased, but boy were hand lining them and caugh a truck load. Yes an old man had his hand on my arm when I kicked it in high and passed my two buddys . LOL
I also waded the lake at gulf state park and caught plenty of bass.
