I love lake purdy, haven't been out there in a boat this year. caught a few fish from the bank in spring but can't really help ya right now. what are you wanting to catch?
Went last Saturday with the family. We didn't fish very hard but caught a bunch of small bream with worms. Kids had a blast! My first time on the lake but certainly not my last! Great trip with the family.
I fish for what will bite. Lol I'm going this weekend I bass fish in the morning early then troll deep till it get's to hot. The regulars I talk to do pretty go trolling or drifting a heave jig tipped with a minnow. Just looking fresh reports.
I heard the crappie were doing pretty good by the solar thingamobobbies over by the dam. Tie up to them and free line a minnow down about 12-15ft. We didn't try that but just wanted to pass along what I was told. Good luck!
