My five year old turned the Closed Caption on on my Panasonic TV. For the love of all that is good, how do you turn it off? I'm on the fence about throwing a brick at it and buying a new tv. Lol

Look for a button marked CC on the remote. If there is not one, hit the menu button and then features then closed caption.

Black tape over the portion of the screen that shows it.... Same thing works on a check engine light.

Have you looked for a way to reset the settings? If nothing else works unplug it for awhile and see if the settings will reset.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

When you hit the CC button once it will show you what MODE the CC is in. You may have to push it a couple of times to scroll though and find CC OFF.

Yeah I try the scroll through CC many times I have not unplugged it through. Could it be the ATT box? Next is the black tape then a large caliber weapon. I just need to go outside and play more! Lol

Maybe its not the tv. we had the same problem, but it ended up being the cable reciever. Check you satelite or cable reciever settings.

Troy the five year old got it! Ha ha ah I looked up AT&T and it is a small button on the bottom of the remote labeled " enter" and under it it is labeled "zoom". Two clicks and it is fixed. Now I know how to drive someone crazy!
