I've been wanting my wife to take a shooting course for a while and she said she would with some of her friends if I found one for them to go to. Do any of yall have any experience with this or any suggestions?

I'm not exactly sure for your area, but I've heard Hoover Tactical is great. It's not too awful far from you.

In Montgomery call Doug Williamson, Defensive Options Group. They run a Ladies Only class, generally for beginners, or they offer several levels of pistol class depending on your wife's skill set. 334-239-8276

They teach classes at the place on County Line Road in Madison. I think it's called Last Chance Guns.

Patriot Defensive Tactics, Bill Vasser in Leesburg is a top notch instructor. I went through it with my Wife. She had done very little shooting with a semi-auto prior to it. It was a one day course, a very full day of learning and shooting. I learned early that day that I needed to learn more myself. Unless your already an expert, You should go with her. She will shoot standing up, sitting down, laying on her stomach, on her back, standing behind a barrier, under a barrier, behind someone else, shooting at single silhouettes, multiple silhouettes, etc, etc. If She doesn't like to get dirty or even muddy for that matter, then she should definitely go somewhere else. If she goes, she will get to lay in the dirt and shoot. Unless its raining, in that case she gets to lay in the mud and shoot.
