We have 3 of them. Love the feeders and the deer eat out of them with no problems. The hogs will get up on their hind legs as best they can to get to the feed, but mostly what they do is bump the legs to get the feed to fall on the ground...and they do it quite well. We have built fences with hog panels from tractor supply around all of ours now.
Edit: Add that we haven't noticed any problem with the coons/squirrels/etc eating out of ours or if they are, they aren't putting a dent in the feed.
