I wish (but not really)! My oldest daughter picked me to be her chaperone on a field trip today though. In other words....piss on turkeys today! Thankful to have 17 more days to chase them in Tennessee!

I sat on a log watched the sun come up said my thanks to God for another season and day on this earth. At that point I was done with my season. I kind of knew I was not gonna get on one this Am but did hear one a few properties over. Time to get some work done now.

I'm sitting with a bird now. He's gobbled 2 times all morning, last time was about 7:10. I'm about 100yds away posted up on the edge of a green field. Gonna sit tight and wait him out.

Public Land was not the the place to be this morning folks was like flies on crap. Had a great season no complaints only left one space on my licence. If I can muster up the funds would really like to goto the midwest and hunt.

Just busted up a group of 10 or so all jakes and hens. They were in some nice dusting areas though so I set up since there was no gob with them I'm hoping he'll come by later checking for his ladies at the spa
